Welcome to the August/September newsletter. We are sorry that we have been rather slow at getting our monthly newsletters out. No excuse really!!!

It's been great to receive feedback from so many of our listeners - we greatly appreciate it. Please keep it up

Things we are doing or planning to do

Storytime Our last Storytime featured Roald Dahl stories. This was a great success with a number of students and other members of the community tuning in - we even had acknowledgement from the USA!
We are gathering new stories to broadcast, so stay tuned.

Podcasts Although we are broadcasting live 24/7 we will be putting podcasts of the students reading their stories etc. onto the website. Some of these podcasts will also be programmed in onto our radio playlists

Featured Artist Each month we will be highlighting a musician (or group). Our last musician was Mikey Wax.
This month our featured artist is Devils Elbow - a duo from Hawkes Bay, consisting of members Alec Withers and Andrew Gladstone. We will also be highlighting their debut album "Sand on Chrome" 24/7. You can hear one of their songs Brainstorm here.
